We have another entry for our Valentine’s Day Couples Contest! Here’s Chloe and Kyle as Dr. Algernop Krieger and Cheryl Tunt from the series Archer! While neither of these cosplayers used our wigs we have some suggestions for styles in case you are looking for wigs to use for cosplaying as either of these characters! For a Dr. Krieger cosplay we recommend styling our Apollo Wig in Dark Brown. For a Cheryl Tunt cosplay we recommend pairing our Chronos Wig in Light Brown and our 20″ curly ponytail clipon and styling the ponytail into a bun like shape to attach into the wig. – What inspired you to do these cosplays?
We have done a few other couple’s cosplays, like Amy and Rory from Doctor Who, but my fiance and I opted for something a little more silly and fun this time. We tend to laugh that we resemble the character’s zany personalities in different ways, so we figured why not cosplay from a show that we both love and that makes us laugh.
– What got you into cosplay?
My best friend Dylan dragged me to my first convention when I was 16, I made my first costume (Tifa from FFVII Crisis Core) in about two days, and I’ve been in love with it ever since.
– Why do you love cosplay?
Nothing is better than getting to BE the characters you love and have more than likely obsessed over since you were young. Meeting friends who like the same exact series and characters as you, creating memories that will probably last forever, it’s the best.
