Here’s one of entries for our Valentine’s Day Couples Contest! CheekerCosplayer and Some very Butter Cosplays are cosplaying as Teen Bulma and Yamcha from Dragonball! While neither of these cosplayers used our wigs we have a few recommendations if you’re looking to cosplay these characters! For Teen Bulma we recommend our Chronos Wig in Anime Blue! -What inspired you to do these cosplays?
In the Summer of 2012 our group of friends decided that it would be awesome to do a classic DragoBall group. The series had been such a big staple in everyone’s anime history that we could resist . Bulma has always been my favorite character from any of the DragonBall series, so naturally I jumped on doing one of her outfits I hadn’t done yet. When Dustin decided on doing Yamcha it was perfect, because we seem to have a love-hate relationship just like them.
-What got you into cosplay?
My freshmen year of high school, the sponsor of our school’s anime club had been talking to us about conventions and the art of cosplay. She introduced me and the rest of the club to the hobby. Dustin started by making a quick Naruto costume for “Nerd Day” at his high school. His friends really like what he did, so he kept going.
-Why do you love cosplay?
I love cosplay because it’s one of the few things I consider myself good at. Not only can I be proud of myself for something, but I also get to meet all these wonderful people and make such great friends along the way. Dustin also loves all the friends he makes as well as the response he gets during conventions.
