Here we have any entry for Show Us Your Moves! It’s Blikku as Ayane from the Dead or Alive video game series! She used our Chronos Wig in Violet to help finish up her cosplay! Read on to learn more info about her and her cosplay!
– Reason for making this costume:
I chose her because she is one of my favorite characters from the Dead or Alive series. I also loved the color scheme. This is also a costume that I always had the intention to make and I finally got around to doing it. ^_^
– About the Costume
I made this costume using Casa Satin and Brocade for the main pieces. For the boot covers, I used some Taffeta which I had from making a previous costume. It took about two and a half weeks to finish the entire thing due to me changing my mind on a couple of things about it. The costume itself wasn’t difficult to make at all. I was happy with the overall outcome.
– What got you into cosplay?
I initially started just because I wanted to create my own Halloween costume, however I had so much fun doing it that I wanted to make more!
– How long have you been cosplaying?
Since 2005
– What’s your favorite part about cosplaying?
I love sewing the costumes and feeling the sense of accomplishment when I complete one. I also love that I’ve gotten to meet so many great people and have had some wonderful experiences. I also learned some valuable things and skills which I may not have otherwise.
– What do you like about our wig?
The color and the quality were on point and *exactly* what I was looking for! ♥ I was especially excited because this was my second time purchasing a wig for this costume. When I received my wig from Epic Cosplay I was in love with the thickness and texture of the wig! Every other wig I have purchased has been great as well.
