Behind the Style: Cardcaptor Sakura Cosplay Wig
Featured cosplayer Adelie Cosplay achieved a super accurate hairstyle using the Chronos wig as a base. The Chronos wig is a short and versatile style available from Epic Cosplay, measuring at 14” to reach just above the shoulders on most wearers. This is a great choice for a Cardcaptor Sakura cosplay, requiring very little trimming to match the character.
Chronos works well with styling products and heat tools alike. Sakura Kinomoto seems to have a simple hairstyle at first glance, but the magic is in the details. For example, every Cardcaptor fan will instantly recognize the little twin ahoge above the bangs. A little holding spray and heat can make sure those pieces hold up to a full day of photoshoots.
This unique Cardcaptor Sakura cosplay wig required a few minor additions. The longer pieces on the sides hang much lower than any part of the wig out of the bag.
